Thommo in Aggro

Lee Thompson joined the Aggrolites on stage for pretty much their entire set, supporting Intensified.

At the Underworld Venue in Camden town tonight (Friday 15th). Lee Hookway and Duff Kelly Report.

The band wearing white suits covered in spray paint slogans played an intense set in the small basement venue.

Starting with Mr Misery the track that Chrissy Boy currently has on his Myspace page, and then about two numbers in, Lee Thompson dressed in a tommy Cooper T-shirt and wearing a cap joined them to much applause. He stayed and played most of the set with them, playing tracks off their 2 studio albums, and was ocassionally to be heard shouting into the mike.

At one point between songs, Lead singer Jesse Wagner said to the crowd "How about this one for Kix... and began to sing on his own the chorus to "Our House" which the crowd then joined in on.

Things continued at a fast pace and the band were joined by more guests and a couple of members of Intensified for a cover of "Moonstomping" which ended the night with a stage
invasion from a few Skinheads and eventually Duff joined them on stage too.

Speaking to the band after the show Duff asked are they enjoying supporting Madness on tour so far. They replied that they were and that at the last couple of shows they had some people singing along to their songs.

Pictures to be added to the MIS site at some point soon.
